Mango Ice Cream
Here is a simple and delicious recipe for mango ice cream:
Ingredients:
2 cups of ripe mango, peeled and chopped
1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of whole milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
In a blender or food processor, blend the mango until smooth. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves.
Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Once the mixture is cooled, stir in the pureed mango until well combined.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Serve and enjoy!
Note: If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make this recipe by freezing the mixture in a shallow container and stirring it every 30 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
