An Ideal Recipe For Sunny Days
Here is a recipe for chicken salad: Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup of chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped apple
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool. Then, chop the chicken into small pieces.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, apple, pecans, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  6. Season the chicken salad with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. When ready to serve, give the chicken salad a good stir and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  9. Serve the chicken salad on a bed of lettuce, or in a sandwich, wrap, or on crackers.
